The Corpse Is Dreaming by Todd Moore is an excerpt from his epic, 21 volume (1,000 plus lines) poem on John Dillinger. The Corpse Is Dreaming details the last minutes of John Dillinger's life before his assassination, or killing (depending on who you listen to) outside the Biograph Theater on Chicago's Lincoln Avenue, on July 22, 1934. He was betrayed by Anna Sage, the notorious "woman in red", a confident of his girlfriend, Polly, for big promises & big money (neither of which she got).
